Those are strong words from a self proclaimed Daiwa hater

The current generation of Tatula rods are fantastic and a great value. This particular combo, or just the individual pieces, are really nice gear... just give in and join the team

What technique is this combo best used for? I’ve been looking for a rod and reel for flipping/pitching craws, beavers, and fishing plastic worms. Also how is the sensitivity?

The 8:1 is fast, so the reel definitely lends itself to bottom contact presentations. The rod is solid medium heavy power fast action rod that has very good sensitivity, good power, and a good flex for jigs, plastics, and worms. It can handle buzz baits, spinner baits, chatter baits, a Senko, larger top water baits, etc. The rod is very versatile, light weight, and looks awfully nice too.

That’s the worst looking hat I’ve ever seen. I bet you buy a hat like that, you get a free rod and reel.

That post is way more about Rodney Dangerfield, than it is about that hat.

I fell for it and bought the combo. Another jig/t rig rod can’t hurt. Plus for $270 and free shipping, that’s a steal.

Have the old Tatula (black foam) and the new cork. I really liked the feel of the old reel seat. both are great rods, love both.

Daiwa also has a free jersey offer you can get to go with your hat. Rebate form is on Tackle Warehouse. You don't have to buy the reel on TW, you can buy it from TT.

GOOD POINT! The HUK shirt promo is GOOD with the purchase of this combo as well... In fact, the promo will be good for two shirts with the purchase of the combo, but it's the same promo form. This form will be included with the purchase of the combo. Thanks Quillback!
