Didn't fish any tournaments but I have a lake home there. Lake is ~5' high and stained. Heard it took 14-15lb to win most of the derby's this past weekend, which is low this time of year.

I was there and it was very tough. Water is about 5ft high which is not abnormal for Pomme in the spring. Water was stained throughout the whole lake. Water temps were from 52 - 57. Conditions seemed great for a good spring bite and I still today cannot figure out why they weren't active at all. there were 7 tournaments on the water last Saturday and from what I understand it was brutal for most all of them. Best bite came late after finally dripping down to a shakey head and working the outside of the bush line. I threw spinnerbait, jig, crankbait, bladed jig, etc. for most of the day with limited success.
