Talon wont retract, does someone know how to fix it?

I bought a talon and it will manually stow but not deploy. I put the spike all the way out and hit the up and it came up. Just wont deploy any ideas how to fix this? I live in the middle of nowhere, no dealer close to me and its peak fishing time, I would love to just fix it myself and then get the parts needed from MK, will they do that?
