Early in the life of the boat but after initial break-in, I ran a quick run getting it up to about 5200rpm and was running about 44.5mph with tackle, half tank of fuel and 2 people. Not bad at all! I expect to run very close to 50mph at WOT.Attachment 415330Attachment 415331Attachment 415332Attachment 415333Attachment 415334
Beautiful! I was hoping to get a good look at a midnight oil themed boat cuz I just ordered one and expect to have it by the end of May. *crossing fingers*

How do you like the Polyurea flooring? If you could do it over would you rather have carpet. I'm thinking about ordering a Vexus (189 most likely or maybe an 1880 can't decide) and thinking Polyurea flooring might be a good option to stay cleaner and more durable than carpet but concerned about the comfort and whether it would be hot.

RoaneVol I don’t know you are asking but I have the poly floor and it is not as hot as the tan carpet in my old boat, or the blue carpet in the wife’s deck boat.

    2022 Vexus AVX1980

Bought the 1980 off the show room floor and waited 2 weeks for it to be ready. It was the longest 2 weeks of my life haha.

Dude I would have died if I had to wait 14 weeks for my boat. I waited 2 weeks for my 1980 to be ready and I about lost it.

My delivery deal was pushing 8 months. I ordered it in October 2019and it was supposed to be ready in January 2020 and I was going to pick it up at the factory. I was in the area on a fishing trip and unfortunately Forest Wood died the week before so it didn’t get done. They shipped it to the dealer by mid February and it had some issues that required it to be sent back to the factory. While it was at the factory the Coronavirus thing hit. They had it shipped back by late April but the dealer was only open Monday through Friday and I was working on the road so it sat at the dealer for another month before I could get a day off to pick it up.

Wow you are truly a better human being than me and most certainly have more patience, but at the end of the day you got the new rig you wanted and Im sure you are enjoying the H-E-Double hockey sticks out of it

That is undeserved praise but thank you. Mostly I’m just old and worn outPlus if you ever heard the story of the young bull and the old bull you’d understand where I come from.

Like many of us that ordered our boats, mine had many tweaks from a standard build. I posted pics in post #41 in this thread.

I was told when I ordered it in June that 12 to 14 weeks was the deal so I really couldn't complain, to them at least.
