    175 spark plug wires

well carbs are done..... so i started changing the plugs and one of the wire coil came off.
been looking at plug wires bunch of different kinds for my 175...blue, grey and black.
which one would be the best for this motor.

If you have the 60° engine with the optical ignition then it requires the grey inductive spark plug wires. CDI sell them as a set, or you can get them one at a time from BRP.

The early 60° engines came with black wires but were supposed to be updated to the grey ones which a lot of them didnt get.

blue and black i believe the only difference is the color. The grey are inductive spark plug wires which reduces the EMI produced by the coils and spark plugs helping improve the reliability of the power pack.
