    Blazer 625 Questions!

Im looking strongly at the 625’s and favor the Yamaha SHO over the merc 4 strokes. Does anyone have real world loaded numbers the Merc 4s 250’s are running? I’ve heard the SHO will run 79-80 with a two guys and a load. I would be coming from a Gambler Outlaw so a little different animal but not too far off on speeds, just looking for a bigger boat with some speed and a real nice front deck!

Also, I’d love to see and ride in one before taking the plunge, does anyone have a 625 in Northeast Florida or close by they’d be willing to let me take a look at and maybe ride in?

Thank for any info in advance!

i had a 625 with sho. No poles 2 people lite tournament load no water in wells full gas. It ran 83 in cool months. i have a 2019 625 now with the new Merc 250xs 4 stroke and poles, I am still learning this set up but did run it Saturday morning 79. I think it will break 80 with alittle time, yesterday I slung a blade on my Fury 4 so I got to figure that out next. The day box is the best thing to me about the front deck...oh and the entie front deck is padded.

Southern GT, thanks for your input. So the SHO and Merc are comparable speeds? But the SHO is flashable, and i dont know if the Merc will be yet? Any other Pros / cons between the two motors on the boat? i am all but sold on the 625 Hull though!

A flashed SHO on a 625 would be in the 87-88 mph range.

Rebel1, even with dual poles and a 36v TM(non lithium)? If so, those are excellent numbers!

There will be some flashes/tuning for the new 4 strokes. There already is...
