Call Chris Domino at Circle D Boats- he has/had one on an XRS last week. I know that it ran 88 light loaded..

That's the first I've heard of a 250R with a sporty pushing a XRS To 88 light or not.

    That’s impressive if true.

That 88mph is probably with 1 battery and no trolling motor no graphs 1/4 tank or less fuel , nothing in the boat and a big prop. Nothing but a unrealistic top end number. Don’t know this for sure, but that’s my quess.

    Guys,

It did happen..a little over 88 to be exact....Boat was full on fuel and driver weighs 265..no troller, graphs or gear that I'm aware of..prop was a 28.5 ProMax......Loaded it down, it's probably a 83-84 mph boat..

    1.75 ratio at 6300 rpm with 9.5 slip on 28.5 Pormax = 88mph

With a true fishing load it’s a 78-80 mph boat.

Know of 2 of the 250r rigged here locally. Speed is comparable with 250 xs, with a few mph to gain once things get more dialed in. Fuel mileage is comparable also. Torque is incomparable, in a good way. They will be great engines.
