Woo hoo....finally got back down to Table Rock 3/30/19

With the weather forcast for Saturday deteriorating all day long on Friday, Gary and I really debated whether we would fish on Saturday or not. Finally, late Friday we made the decision to go and I'm so glad we did. We decided it would be better to have to come back if we got froze out than to sit around the house all day wishing we had gone on to the lake. When we left the house at 6:15am it was pouring down rain and about 50*. By the time we got to the ramp at Big Bay it was in the 40's and still raining steadily. Water temp was about 53.5*. We ran back as far as we could go in Big Creek and stopped and started fishing the north bank and working back east. We fished all the usual early sping baits but could only get bit on a Ned Rig....Decent keeper sized but nothing to brag about. The fish were biting good enough we pretty much stayed put until 1pm or so and then headed out on the main lake. We ducked in to one of our favorite creeks and again could only get bit on the Ned. Nothing to brag about again, but they kept us entertained until evening. Finally around 5 we decide to head back toward the ramp but stopped at one of our spots along the way. We found the fat kentuckies stacked up pretty tight and commensed to thrashing them pretty good. They weren't that long but every one of them was fat as a football......it was awesome. Great place to end the day...
