    Cut carpet for compartment openings

I am installing new carpet in my 98 Pro Team 175. I understand how to cut the carpet for the lids but, I need help with the inside corners of the compartment openings. How do you cut the carpet (can it even be done) to avoid the ^ Triangle.....is there a way or is it one of those things we just have to fix best we can

I can do that....wasn't sure if there was a better way. I played around with the scissors and paper for about an hour....didn't seem to be a way around it. Thanks
You are right, it is an easy fix.

Yeah, it's the only way. That's what the small scraps are for. I cut the triangle, put some glue on a scrap piece of carpet and dab the piece in it. Put it in the corner and close to the lid to hold it tight.

No other way to do it than triangles. You can’t make material appear in the relief cuts other than the addition of a piece. Physics.
