2 years ago coming out of a bay just past Jonathan Creek to the north I seen the largest fish of my life swimming on the bottom in about 10ft of water. I swear it was 12ft long and looked like a bass! Im 99% sure it wasnt a carp?

I've seen Alligator Gar in Ky Lake that were close to that, at least 7 or 8 feet long but the fish in that picture isn't one of them. Big ol Blue Cat maybe?

The full picture would be much better for scale, assuming this isn't some sort of prank.

My theory: Water clarity in KY lake will only allow visibility for very close objects. That fish is easily discernible so it's quite close to the camera, and also seems quite small relative to the total view of the camera. No way of knowing but based on the date it appears the majority of this picture has been cropped out. Crappie or bass I'd say... It also would have to be very shallow to get that much light in the picture unless there's some type of camera flash.
