    In all seriousness, good post! I never fished for panfish on purpose until I moved to MN and started ice fishing and dealing with closed seasons once the ice is off. I sort of accidentally stumbled upon the fact that a small wacky rigged worm is a KILLER for panfish. I was even fishing it side-by-side with live minnows for prespawn crappies and long story short, haven't bought minnows for open-water crappies since. I've been using the Berkley trout worms under a slip float, but this looks like it'd be a really effective choice as well - definitely a completely different profile.
