    No Wake Zone Update?

    Gents,

I am sick of fishing False River. Are the no-wake zones still in effect in the Belle River area? I think the river in BR has fallen some but maybe not enough.

    Thanks,
    Jason

Water is still high. Didn't go to Belle River but did go into Lake Verret.

If you don't like wake zones it may be a while before that area is clear.

The water actually came up this weekend it’s terrible. I hear that bayou Chene might be looked at. They also planning a long term floodgate there. Tell your representatives to do what they can to expedite the Bayou Chene floodgates..but to answer your question I don’t see the any drops to make a difference coming anytime soon. I been going to marsh.

Father in law live at the end of Shell Beach rd and sent pictures yesterday. Water is covering the yards and almost over the road. It's getting real down there right now.

Made a trip to Morgan city this morning and water is over the road in several spots near Stephenville. Doiron's landings has all the ramps closed. Orly 2 ramps that are open in Pierre Part are Bayside and the Spanky Monkey. Most all roads leading to the lake North Bay, South Bay and Shell Beach Roads are close to traffic.
I will be opening the Bayside Bait shop on Saturday so come by say Help. Got a couple of sales going on now.

Is the water deep in Hwy 70 going to Morgan City or it is like a few weeks ago just big puddle?

    You're welcome.

Passed through this Sunday. The stretch you were asking about, HWY 70 through Morgan City, didn't have any water on the road. The signs were still up and the water may be back up after this Thursdays rain.

Good bit of water in a 1/4 mile stretch closer to Pigeon.
