    Interference with 360 from Ultrex

I've read a lot of the post on interference and specifically to use of the Ultrex. I recently installed my 360 and when the Ultrex is engaged my screen is completely washed out. It doesn't matter what speed the ultrex is on. I checked the fuse in the head of the ultrex and it looks good. However I know that the visual inspection isn't always the best way to do it. Can someone tell me how I can use a meter to check this? Thanks.

Put your meter on the Ohms setting and touch the two leads together. If you hear a constant beep, that is the setting you want your meter on. Then, take your fuse out of the holder, touch one meter lead to each prong on the fuse. Be sure not to have your fingers touching the metal of the probes or the fuse (lay the fuse on a non-conductor such as wood or rubber). The meter will have a constant beep if the fuse is good. If you need help, call me at 405-630-8586.

If your meter doesn't have an audio option, the needle or LED will show 000.

+1 That would be for a good fuse

Thank you all for the help. So it is like doing a continuity check?

Thanks for all the help. Fuse was good but I found the main ground wire was exposed. Fixed that and interference gone.

It was inside the control head. The wire was coming up from the lower unit and then connected to a wire in the control head.

How was it "exposed"... like the wire sheath was nicked or something? And what did you do to fix it? Electrical tape/liquid tape? Just curious and want to check mine out now because I get some random interference on my 360 and this caught my eye. Thanks for any info.
