    Glock 43X....anyone got one yet?

Anyone been able to get one and have any feedback on it yet. I am thinking that this might be my next gun and looking for any input. I am admittedly not Glock guy but I haven't owned one for years. Just struggling to overcome my past experience of brutal trigger pull and awful sights but they do feel better in my hand than the past ones I have owned. Currently have a Sig 365 and S&W Shield so this will be an add on to the collection not necessarily an EDC replacement.

My edc is the G43 with a pierce +1 mag extension. Thought about getting the 43 x but not a fan of the silver slide.

If you didn't like them in the past you won't like them now. They haven't done anything innovative since their inception. Everyone else has tried to create better ergonomics, triggers, recoil reduction, etc., and Glock just continues to build the same pig but just puts different shades of make-up on her. I'm not a fan of them if you can't tell but just for your information the triggers still suck and I believe they suck worse now than they did during Gen 1 and Gen 2. They do function really well though, are super reliable, and simple to use/field strip and that's why folks like them so much I suppose.

Yep. A Glock is like a Jeep , not very aerodynamic but they work and unlimited aftermarket accessories.

I broke down and bought one, I have large hands so the extra grip length appealed to me and being fat, the added grip length didn't print, I carry IWB, same Gock trigger pull, but I got the Tru-Glo sights on it, I really like the silver finish.

My son has one and I checked it out one day, I didn't care for the grip, too short for my hand but the mag with the extension made it better.

Thanks for all the input. So, it is still a Glock repackaged for 2019 and promoted as a "new" model. DougN68, were you able to buy it with the Tru-Glo sights or did you have to add them as an aftermarket?

They offer them with the Ameri-Glo night sight as a option from the factory, I haven't seen them in person yet, I already have two other Glocks with the aftermarket Tru-Glo sights, so I went with them.

I picked the 48 over the 43x. Its not hard to carry the extra length of the slide and there are multiple benefits to it. The 43 appeals to me over the 43x but I have a P365 so I really had no need for the 43. With all of that said the 48 and an awesome gun that is super accurate out of the box. I got it with the Ameri-Glo night sight as well

I bought a 43x to fill the roll as a gym shorts gun. My EDC 34 is a little to heavy to carry without a belt. So is my 19. The 43 is useless to me because I can’t get a full grip. I almost got the 48 but weight was the driving factor and the 43x is 2.3 oz lighter. I bought one milled for the shield RMSc red dot. I won’t carry a gun without a red dot anymore. The RMSc has some durability issues but this won’t be a hard use gun and only be carried on runs, so I’m gonna roll the dice. If you don’t have a need for the lightest gun that has a full grip, just get a 19, 17, 34 and call it a day.

Next time I stop by Eddie, i'l make sure to bring my 30sf and my wifes 19.
With a few bucks and a little work you can have a decent trigger for a striker fired weapon.
