2003 Mercury 40 Hp 2 Stroke
Gentlemen & Ladies,
I’m having the same trouble this year as last year, My motor with start and when I try to go full throttle the motor bogs down and Stops Running. I sprayed Starter Fluid and the motor will run for awhile but after turning the motor off I have trouble starting again.
I run Stabil 24/7 in my fuel.
If Anyone can suggest a solution, I would very much appreciate the Help.
PS- I’m not Particularly Mechanically Minded But can follow instructions.
Thanks In Advance For Your Assistance

I’m not too mechanically gifted either but I would change the fuel line. Can be small pin holes between the tank and motor that will suck air.
Cheap fix if that’s the problem, maintenance if it’s not.

Run the engine and have someone squeeze the bulb when it starts to bog
