    Rod uses question

    curious on what these rods should be use for
    6'8" 8-15 Lb 1/4 - 3/4 oz | Med/Hvy | Mod
    7/6 med/HVy 12-25lb 3/8- 1 1/4oz | Mod Fast

    I'd use both for Flipping and pitching. The first for more open water with 20 lb sniper floro the second for brush with 25 lb floro

    The 6’8” rod sounds like a good spinnerbait/chatterbait/swimbait rod when around cover. Short rods cast more accurately.

    7’6” looks like a good flipping rod of a Carolina rig rod. Or an open water swimbait rod.

    The 6-8 could also be a good square bill or larger 100 size jerk bait rod. Depending on how stiff the 7-6 actually is,it might be ok for deep cranking. I have two old Diawa flipping sticks that I think are too soft for flipping but are good cranking rods.

    I agree with that too. It’s hard to say exactly without feeling them though.

    6'8" would make a good jerbait rod.
    7'6" would be a good chatterbait/spinnerbait rod
