    Chick info 3/25

Well it was an interesting weekend at our first time out on chickamauga. The Costa series was finishing up and for all intensive purposes the a rig played a big part as well as a lipless crank in shallow water. I'm not sure where these guys were fishing but I couldn't buy a bite on one. Most of the fish we saw were still pretty deep and a lot suspended in the mouths of creeks and bays. Difficult to put together any type of pattern really and tough to get most of them to bite. Anyone had the same or different opinion of it?

I have been throwing a lipless in VERY shallow water and having success with it. I have been throwing it shallow enough to take the paint off. There are still fish out deep and a big swimbait will catch a few of those. Its been pretty decent to me lately.

I fished the Sunday-tuesday after the costa and struggled. 8 fish in three days. Once water comes up should get better. Water was at 675. If it comes up to around 680 I'm going back down next week.
