How to mark waypoints on Helix 10 while using the 360

I'm having trouble marking waypoints on my Helix 10 G2N DI unit when using the 360 and having them show up on the chart or 360 display screen. Whenever I see a brush pile 50 feet away on the 360, I always try to move the cursor and mark it, but it seems to shift the whole screen only vice the cursor. Not sure if it's because I have it in front view or not. Plus I tried watching you tube videos for some information and noticed that you are able to mark waypoints on the Solix units, but unable to do so with the Helix models when using the 360. Doing it with a SOLIX, ONIX, Helix, or number series units is the same way. I use the Front View.
You must have the AS GPS HS connected and functioning to mark and display waypoints on the 360 view. Also the AS GPS HS has to be near the 360 to be accurate.

This is a waypoint I created with a hand held GPS--Hr9. It is a large brush/log pile. I loaded that to the unit. The camera icons are where I took snapshot waypoints on the 360 view--that is why the icon names have a S prefix.
This snapshot waypoint is number 149 so it was much later than the ones in the screen shot. It would have been displayed as S00149 the next time I did one there. I think I have deleted most all the S prefix waypoints that have a regular waypoint assigned.

Wayne, I have the AS PGS HS basically right next to my Helix and 360 on the bow. Just so I understand, I should be able to create a new waypoint when using the 360 just by moving the cursor and hitting the "mark" button correct? I have created waypoints no problem when using 2D and DI and have them show up on the chart and 360, but not able to create a waypoint when using 360. Maybe I need to play some more with it. thanks.

Did you ever get your unit to mark the waypoints? I just installed a 360 and having the same issue. Running a Helix 10 GN2 with it.

Did you turn on 360 Navigation?
Do you have the AS GPS HS (Ext.) selected as the GPS source in the Network menu?

Yes, I have the external AS GPS HS and had the unit selected to it.

It's not Default, you have to turn it on if you want waypoints on the 360 view.
