    Bass boat names.

Do bass boat owners name and label their boats as big cruisers do? If no, why not? Just curious. I have a Ranger Z185 and have not done it.

I had my BIL's old 70 something model brown Ranger. We called it DDB. Short for Doo Doo Brown.

I think the most common name for bass boats would be "Money Pit" or B.O.A.T. (Break Out Another Thousand).

    I call my boat "Boat"
    I call my truck "Truck"
    I call my car "Car"
and I call my motorcycle "Motorcycle"

I never understood the obsession with naming objects.

Funny question...after I got mine a few years back, wife asked what we'd name it? I said, "name it?? It's a bass boat"...It's red/flake and I joked, "How about Cherry Sparkles?" She replied, "We are NOT naming the boat like a stripper! But I'd be okay with Sparkles" so it kinda stuck...that, and she definitely knows it's the "other woman"!!

Does Sparkles have a big front deck? We need to see pictures without the cover!

Locally back in the 90’s it was a fad around here for guys to put their names on the outboard cowling. It only lasted a few years.

“Fillet Show” Saw that on a blue water boat.
Pretty much we call everything my it’s make or model name. Kind of started when I (we) had nine motorcycles. Made it easier. Suburban, VStrom and the like.

Mine has a dead pool sticker on it from the previous owner. I dont call it dead pool or anything but I thought the sticker was kind of cool so I left it. I have never been one to name things though. Or refer to it as a he or she.
