    How satisfied?

I've been looking at Xpress x19s ect. and think they would fit my style of fishing. I have two questions one is overall how satisfied are you with your Xpress and how shallow will they go. Thanks

Owned Champion, stroker, bullet, gambler, FastCat. Loved every single boat. Bullet and stroker were my favorite glass boats. Since I’ve been in the xpress I enjoy this bust just as much as the others. They all have pros and cons no matter which boat you get into. I would not hesitate on a xpress boat at all. I have a x19 and it has a great ride for a 19’ foot and is pretty fast for what it is. I am content as can be with it for the style and type of fishing I do now. I fish a lot of shallow water areas and I don’t think I would put a glass boat in some of the places I fish. You won’t regret a xpress.

Also depending on your setup, basically if it’s floating I can almost guarantee you it will get up and run.

This is my second Xpress and my son just bought one. I'm completely satisfied.
If you are buying a X19 I'll give you 3 pieces of advice:
    1) Get the tandem axle trailer. Trust me. I wish mine had it.
    2) Get the 200. I have the 175 and run mid 60's but will always wish I was maxed out on HP.
    3) If you get a dual console know up front it is pretty tight between the consoles stepping up on the front deck and it makes using the rod locker a pain.
A single console X19 with a 200 on a tandem axle trailer would be perfect.

Whats the issue with a single axle?

xpress x19, 200ho G2, aluminum sawtooth cut prop, paper sack tackle storage, ugly stik pro team, color c-lector

Just not as a stable as a tandem axle would be. On days with a cross wind or passing 18 wheelers it drifts a little. Not a big deal but a tandem would just be better on a boat that big.

Plus a tandem axle looks better!

I dont like trying to move a tandem around in the garage so i always opt for the single axle- especially on a boat that weighs half as much as needed for a tandem. I agree they pull tons better but ill take the hit maintaining 2 less tires/hubs. If i could get a basscat style pop axle on a tandem id sure go that route tho

I have the tandem axle and love it. Plus it does look better.
I have the dual console and it is harder getting rods in and out. But the newer boats may have center rod lockers. My wife loves it in the winter.
Do wish I had the 200 SHO now.

I wanted to pull the trigger of a X19 with a 200 but paying almost $58K for a tin boat isn't going to happen.

I really like my X19. It's a go anywhere do anything type of boat. Mines older so I'm not overly concerned about scratches. It's big enough to handle larger water, yet compact enough to get around docks and standing timber easily. Sure there are a few things I'd like to see a little different, but I've had that with every boat I've owned. I've seen some pretty good deals on leftover models, they are usually rigged with 150s or 175s. Which will make it almost as slow as other brands. Lol....

I hadn't thought about that and it does make sense, but I don't think it changes my mind.

I really like mine, if the wife would allow it I would get rid of the 2nd console to give me a little more room. Aside from that, I wouldn't really change much about it

I like not worrying about banging it into stuff and it'll float pretty darn shallow.
