    Motor ground lead?

    Do outboards have a separate ground lead other than the negative lead from the battery? Specifically asking about SHO and if so where is it connected to? Thanks

    There are many ground leads on the SHO. Inspect the motor for black wires that have ring terminals on the end of them that are attached to the block with bolts.
