You got deleted for a prop question?

gotta be more to that story.

    With a promax and a sporty , I’d prolly try a performer 4 bc 28p

I disagreed with him on his suggestion of a 28 bravo xs. I suggested a 26 promax or trophy, saying that I didn't think the 2.5 would turn the big dia. bravo to max rpm on the 21'er. He didn't like me disagreeing with him and he told me "how long he's been doing this" and he's set up 100's of boats and that the boat was a lighter hull and would turn the bravo fine. I replied that it was a 21' boat and it weighed 1200 lbs. He then told me that he didn't run this FB page by luck and that it was 900 lbs and I didn't know what I was talking about and that I should "listen and learn". I then asked him if he always told someone all his credentials every time they disagreed with him. That's when he deleted me.

So yeah, I guess there is a lil' more to the story.

    I have 1.87. Mine is a 20xd w/1025 hull and I don't think I could turn a 28 bravo xs. I have a 27 promax now. Another guy asked about the 21vee w/promax.

ok, so you don’t actually need help with setting up a 21vee, your just bringing the bs from facebook here?

It doesn’t belong here man, keep the Facebook bs on Facebook.

If you had beef, but where the one needing set-up help it would be different.

I don't think the Braves turn as hard as some other props. If you can turn a 27 promax then a bravo should be fine. I don't know how much stern lift you need but the big barrel bravos with a flare ring will give you a good bit more lift than a promax.

You are right. I only offered my opinion to someone else that differed from the admins. I asked here to see what your opinions were to check myself, not to bring any BS here.

The whole experience was kinda funny to me. I don't give a rat's azz about his FB page.

I didn't really disagree with the bravo, it was the 28 p. I just didn't think that 2.5 would be happy with it on that combo.

I ran a 27 xs on mine for a little bit and it was a great combo, ran 82-84 depending on load and was great to fish with. It was on a 20xrd/225 promax. 28 wouldn't be totally out of line and would probably be fine in my opinion.
    Thanks, Nate

well you are right about the prop with a 2.5l, too big of diameter and blade area wetted wont let the engine spool up quickly or pull the rpm's

I can tell you I turned a 28 bravo xs to 6800 on my 20xdc with 225 promax. Slipped bad. What does your 27 promax run?
