    EC 93SV+ Clear Vu Dark

I know I read about this topic several weeks ago but I can't find it when I search. I had my new EC93SV+ out this week for its first real trip. Using a split screen for Clear Vu and Side Vu the Clear Vu was noticeably darker to the point it was almost unreadable. The Side Vu was great. I was on auto brightness and changed to manual 100% and there wasn't much change. What other adjustment could I try? Clear Vu was on 455 kHz.

    How deep was the water?
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

The transducer is the standard CV52 mounted on the transom. Water depth varied from 10' to 40'. Thank you TOC, next time I will adjust backlight. I thought it was odd the Side Vu was good and the Clear Vu was poor on the same split screen from a transducer that computes the clear vu from the side vu. Oh well, still learning.

Go Full Screen on the ClearVu. Adjust the brightness and contrast to taste. Then go back to the other screen.
