    MARINE WAX?

Hi guys, who uses what wax? Conventional or polymer or Ceramic $$ or ? Is there any issues with applying a wax on an engine cowling and covering it up w a vented cover. Also anyone w a center console use something to protect a white intercostal or textured non slip decking.

I can't leave anything stock, I can't leave well enough alone.
I need to customize everything. I think I can improve others
    designs, sometimes.

I use the Star Brite with PTEF for cleaning the non skid also used some dang good sealant for non skid and I think it was called Protect but not sure I need some myself , it keeps cleaning a lot easier . I bet the Florida guys on here can help .

Another vote for meguairs. I use the flagship wax and the quick detailer Before I cover , typically I wait 12-24 to cover it after waxing or detailing.

Woody Wax is probably one of the most recommended products for non skid. The saltwater guys use it a lot.
I have a flats boat and it's all nonskid but I do not use anything other than soap, water, pressure washer. I found the more you clean the white deck the easier it gets dirty so the more you clean. Vicious circle. I deal with the fact a well used and cared for boat does not need a sparkling white deck.

Annually wax the hull with Collonite Fleet Paste Wax. Think old school Karate Kid.
After each trip I do a quick wipe down with wax-as-you-dry spray wax and a microfiber cloth.
After the hull wipedown if the deck is dirty I take the wet microfiber cloth and wipe the deck. It's a quick wipe across. Dont spray the deck directly.

My after trip wipe down takes 5-10 min max.

Careful what products you use on the non skid. No need to break a hip.
