I just recently purchased a 2002 Javelin 190 SC with Yamaha Vmax 150. It came with a 23 tempest prop which seems small to me and seems to wanna run 6300 rpms at wot. To keep the rpms around 5500 I am running about 3/4 throttle. Does anyone have a boat similar or suggestion on props. I have a buddy with 285 Stratos with same motor running a 25 tempest.
These Javelins perform best with a 4 blade. You should be good with a 25 Trophy.
