Is this Spring? Pool 13 update

Rain and melt. River level is around 17'. This will take a long time to manage downward. It will also take it's toll on vegetation growth. The backwaters will be wide open .... High water in the spring is not a new thing but what we have seen in the past few years has not been normal. Oh well, I'm still in recovery (rehab/physical therapy) from my back surgery (spinal fusion)... It will be another month before I can even think about it. Hope that those of you who can will enjoy and have great luck ....

Took a 15yo kid out to Spring Lake today. He caught a 5.07 on the only bite we had!

What a thrill for that kid. I'll bet that it made you happy to see the kid bring it aboard.

I had read a few reports up and down the river it was going to be a rough year for flooding. I know the NWT already cancelled the red wing tournament and moved it to the lake. I think I'm definitely going to hold off on the first BFL in Lacrosse.

It was great! This is the boy that won a National BASS Junior HS tournament in Tennessee last year. Hasn't lost his touch!
