    Lakemaster micro SD

Can a Lakemaster chip still be used if the micro sd is not in it?

I am looking at getting the v5.0 lakemaster for my region. My graph uses the normal sd card and my dads graph uses the micro sd...if we can split the card we were going to do that to save money.

Nope. The chart and programs are on the little micro card inserted in the SD card. Somehow, the micro card came out of mine. Don't know how or when, but it's gone and the Lakemaster SD card is now useless.

The data is on the microSD card. The SD adapter is included to fit in units that have SD size card readers. There is no data on the adapter.
If you do not have the micoSD card, you have no Lakemaster card.

Lakemaster started using microSD cards when the Helix 5 and Helix 7 came out, they have microSD readers.

Navionics has been using microSD cards since 2010. A SD adapter is included with those too.
