Any one know how to take the crank side apart on this reel? Pawl was sticking and it needs a good cleaning.

Slightly pry out each of the 3 plastic tabs (one is top center in your pic, they are holding on to the groove in the metal housing which contains the planetary gears and drag stack) slide a piece of paper or something thin behind them and you should be able to remove the side cover.
Also since you mentioned the pawl sticking... On yours, does the levelwind disengage during a cast?

Thanks, I will try that. I believe the levelwind does disengage. #10 02 on the foot, I found the schematics on line.

The levelwind not engaging after a cast was a common issue, some were sent to Abu to disable feature, some were disabled by individuals... I think Abu stopped the feature all together part way through the EON series.
