Keypad and Blackbox/ brain replacement

For those of you who have replaced both the keypad and the black module under the console is this something that is easy to do? Is there anything tricky about this install? For my model boat Ranger is selling only a kit that includes the keypad and black module. The associate from Ranger in the parts department made some comment about checking an aux 4 fuse but she seemed pretty certain that wasn't for my model.

I have on my old z20 and it’s not a big deal. First unhook your battery completely and
then mark where all the plugin harnesses go. Then remove the plugs and replace pad
and brain and install plugs and wires. Good luck.

Agree did it on my z20 pretty easy but you have to replace both

Be sure to unhook your battery, when you fire up your new one it could trash it if not unhooked, I seen that happen once at our shop years ago, we learned a expensive lesson!!!!
