That's a tough one. Never had an Ultrex, SWA or Garmin but I would keep my Ulterra

I had an opportunity to fish my last tournament with both ultrex and powerpoles. My boat has neither. We fished shallow the entire day and the ultrex was completely pointless for that style of fishing. Powerpoles however allowed us to fan cast shallow humps and such without disturbing the fish. It even aided in some bed fish we caught. So id say it depends on where you spend most of your fishing time.

Ultrex. The electronics will be outdated within a year; and unless you're relegated to shallow southern lakes, the poles are more "cool" cosmetic than useful. I have 2 buddies who installed SWAs, and given that we're all Smith Mountain Lake guys, the poles are never used. They were purchased primarily to keep up with the rest of the tourney crowd that also rarely use them. A decent trolling motor will benefit you for nearly the life of the boat across all sorts of fishing styles.

The lake I fish, the big ‘U’. I have the Terrova and it would be hard to go back to being without it.

Ultrex. The power poles would only come in handy at the ramp for the water I mostly fish

I have neither of the three so if i were to be given one of the 3 it would probably be the Ultrex.

A 17 foot aluminum Tracker passed me on the highway with 2 power poles and a ultrex. I bet he even had the livescope.

Ultrex! Shallow water anchors are for shallow water. Garmin's basically are not for shallow water. The Ultrex is on wherever or whenever you're on the water.
