Got out two weeks ago for the last ice fishing trip of the season with a few friends. Went with our friend Kyle so he could take us to his local honey hole on a pond that's very difficult to access during the summer, but is easier in the winter as you can walk through the town park...pending they didn't lock the gate.

We stuck to our usual rotation/buddy system and took turns pulling flags, and Kyle struck gold twice with two over 4 lbs. I caught a couple of slime darts...not the way I wanted to end the season. But we had a fun day in a small snow storm with friends, and some delicious deer sausage Kyle cooked up for us on the grill.
