    New to me 89 champ

I purchased a 89 champ 17ft. Any help to ID what series this is would be helpful it has 150 evenrude on it. Boat has been stored in a shop for 10 years and used regularly with light use gentleman that owned it fell upon some serious health issues. Wanted it to go to someone who would treat her like gold. And belive me after fishing out a 1232 john boat this is gonna be stellar.IMG_20190321_090800_146.jpg

Very nice find! Welcome to the family. Looks like it is a 176 DCR (dual console raised deck).

Here are some pics of my 1989 184DCR for comparison. As mentioned yours looks like a 176DCR.

Those consoles look like they've had some modifications done to them.

Look like the ones that my 93 had. The front of the consoles on my 90 were straight up and down.

I think that's a 176 fish n ski, tournament edition. Deck doesn't look quite high enough to be a DCR?? Still, great little boat, in great shape. Enjoy her!

The straight consoles are the same style as my 1985. Also, it seems like they made a fish n ski with the raised rod locker lids, and you could order cushions that were removable.

Yep, my 89 201 has switches across the bottom of the dash plate. The glove box is just a piece of teak wood and is flat as well. I believe that bow4um's boat may be newer than 89.

This is what they looked like in 1989.

I'd say it's newer than 90. My 90 was like your 89, dash, glove box and consoles.
