    Spinnerbait/Buzzbait system

I know alot of you use this kind of storage for your baits. Has it worked out for you or have you gone back to the traditional storage boxes or bags?KIMG0637.JPG

Do you have a venting system for your storage compartments? I do not and I have had issues with humidity and hooks rusting when I store my baits like that.

I use Cook's tackle system. Never had a problem.

I assume it is vented since its in the rod locker, but I'll ask the Ranger dealer tomorrow. Great question, thanks.

I use Cooks for soft plastics in the bags, and for buzzbaits on my rod locker lids. I also have a 12” lure rack screw mounted on either side of my center box. Spinnerbaits on one side, cranks and squarebills, etc., on the other side.

I hang them and others after use to dry then store back in boxes at end of day. Putting a wet skirted jig or s-bait back in a box is asking for trouble for it and surrounding baits.

I hang mine as in your picture and have never had any issues. I like the easy access to keep them under my lid.

I hardly use these at all. I'm wanting the magnet thingy type racks.

I habe 2 of the large Plano spinnerbait boxes with the little holes in them. I just can’t bring myself to leave all my stuff in my boat because she doesn’t get to live in the garage.

Also by limiting myself to 2 of the large Plano boxes it makes me limit what I bring to 5-7 of my favorite colors of each brand I use.

Me too. I ruined about 50 spinnerbaits and jigs one day.

I made a spinnerbait hanger that attaches to the back of the rod handle support in my rod box. If anyone is interested in making one, PM your email address and I will send a PDF build sheet.

I hang mine just like in your picture. Plus I took 2 additional hangers and mounted on a garage wall.
