    Anyone have a spare helix 12 cover they would like to sell? Mine is in the highway lost and lonely

    Lost mine also, ended up buying a new one. Also bought some Velcro straps from Amazon to hold the new one on the unit while travelling!

    I was reading a facebook post the other day regarding this and almost everyone stated that there was no need for velcro because they hold tight. I bought velcro from Lowes for less than $10 and did two strips on both my units, some for my poles, and some misc for other stuff. I believe I saw the same velcro at Academy for even cheaper. I'm not taking any chances.

    I will never, EVER, understand how guys are OK with hauling $5000 worth of electronics down the highway at 70 miles an hour. If my boat isn't wet, the electronics aren't on it.
