I run three Lorance gen 3 units and I’m currently installing Garmin to utilize livescope on the bow. So yes, one HDS 9 and one Garmin 9 on the bow double stacked.

If you get one for livescope, I'd pair it with humminbirds.

Currently run four birds. Will be getting a Garmin for LiveScope. I’m just trying to decide 10 or 12 inch and get the hi/wide 2d chirp transducer or not.

I run Humminbird for Side Imaging, Down Imaging, 360 and Sonar. Have a 12" at Bow and 9" at Console. Use a 10" Garmin at bow for Livescope only.

I have two HDS 12’s and am currently installing LiveScope. I like the Lowrance structure scan and maps, but Garmin has the best live tech. So, I have a Garmin and Lowrance on the bow.

I will always have HB as my primaries but have two garmins for LS (one on the console for my partner) and have a hds live coming so I can try the Livesight. It's an addiction :-).

And yes at times I have six units ..... lol

I got the Garmin first, planning to use it for LiveScope only, and buy a Humminbird Helix 10 Mega+ G3n for SI. After using the Garmin, and reading all the many issues folks have with upgrading SW on the Humminbirds, I decided against buying the Helix, and I'm sticking with Garmin. For now.
