    Thumbs Up repowering 99 tr21 next week

    replacing my 99 225 efi with a 2010 250 sport xs early next week. cant wait to twist on her. ran 71.4 last week with efi hoping for 75-76 with 250.we will see!!

    isn't the "max" HP on that boat 225 on the placard?

    I wouldn't put a "Sport XS" on that boat.....Wrong lower unit on that motor for a TR-21.

    245, which is the dumbest thing ever. Heard that before JM bought Triton you used to be able to call them if you had one of the original Tr's and they would send you a sticker rated for 250. Highly doubt that's allowed any more.
