You can prime it in the garage, but not completely. You need the full deployment purge once you have the boat in the water. Get to water deeper than your pole, and cycle it a few times to purge the air the rest of the way. All the way down and all the way up.
You will wanna follow the proper priming procedure outlined in the instruction manual, you will then want to take the boat out and do a deep water prime following the same procedure.. if you have any questions feel free to Pm or text me.
