    1199 issues

I had a sudden voltage drop and my graph will not turn back on completely. It has a black screen like it is going to turn on but never does. Can you fry the processor from a sudden voltage drop? I know power is not the issue because I plugged the graph into a power source i know works and it didnt work still.

Had this happen on a 1198 once and it was due to the power connection port on the unit itself those holes were loose and worn. (black screen)

I've also had an issue where this happened on a 1197 after performing an update and ended up having to send it in. (black screen)

Spikes in voltage or current is what fries components. Low voltage may cause the unit not to operate properly and may cause it not to complete a proper power down sequence. If you have tried removing any cards and powering up on good source and still get the black screen, then probably should contact HB Customer Support.
