Realizing the difference between expenses and investments will help. I always laugh when I hear people talk about buying $80 case for a $800 phone and say “I need to protect my investment”. Lol.

If I'm out of the office I can still be doing business from my phone wherever there is service. You may not look at it as an investment but having a working computer in my hands where I can write contracts, addendum, etc is an investment to me not an expense. The reason I get business is because I dont ignore clients if I'm out of the office. If I dont have a cell phone, I cant be reached unless I'm in my office.

Something to remember...yes I can go fishing anytime I want but the older you get the more your body is wore out. Wish I could fish the way I did back when I was 30 or 40. Now days...its tuff to put 2 consecutive days fishing together. Body is like an old truck....run down and beat up.
