Pics are around Omaha NE, Nebraska is hit the hardest and Ia also All along the drainage into the Missouri River is flooded this is all going into the Mississippi by St Louis MO and then south to the ocean this whole flood episode could be the worse in history if all the snow pack up north melts fast and the south gets lot's of rain.

Might be a big problem because it would be classified as flood insurance and a lot of people don't have it.

Sure was terrible to have to leave the area but now in MO and will no longer get flooded. Hope you have a good fishing season, it's heating up here around Truman.

I live one one set of hills to the east of Lewis &Clark Monument so we are pretty high.

Where is the news coverage? Almost non existent outside the area. Whole towns are gone, Interstates gone, major highways are gone. 64 counties are flooded, the impact will be far reaching eventually. Farm fields have 5 ft. Of sand or silt on them. Some farms have no topsoil, and that can't be replaced.

That is my fear also. There has been a lot of flooding around these parts also, but not like they are having to endure. Feel for those effected!
