    07 TR21X with 250 Verado

Im looking to get more speed from my triton. I am currently running a 25P Tempest Plus with a 12in jackplate. Where should my jackplate be to get more out of it. Only getting 65 mph without it getting out of control. Have pedal left but can't get through it.

Ive tried a 26 Tempest and can't get out of the hole with live wells full on tourney days.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Not to be a smart ass,but you need to learn how to drive it. Tritons are notorious for chine walk, you need to learn how to prevent it. You can not drive through it.See if you can get someone to go with you that knows how.

What is you current prop to pad measurement? The higher you can run the prop the less it will walk. Try 3" under to start then raise it up 1/4" at a time. How many rpm's are you turning now to get 65 mph?
