    X19 owners

What shaft length are you running on your trolling motors? Reason I ask is I am running a MotorGuide with a 52" shaft but I have 9" between the bottom of the head and the mount. I am changing over to what I think is a 45" Minn Kota. The actual difference in the trolling motors from the bottom of the head to the middle of the prop shaft is 4". I think it will work great and get the head down lower. What say you?

I run a 45 and normally don't have it all the way down. If it is rough I will drop it all the way but normally not. CJ

How much set back do you have? I know I noticed a difference going from a 2.6l to the 3.1l and the 10" setback made a difference also in how much the bow is in the air. But I still can have myself and a passenger in the main seats and troll with the front motor not being all the way down. So you should be fine. CJ

    I haven't measured but I'm 90% sure it's a 6" plate.

I have the longer shaft on my fortrex, and I hate it. 45" would be right.
