    New models

    With the new 4-Stroke outboard 200 225 and 250 hp motors being out I was so hoping to see a bit of weight loss.
    Unfortunately the new Honda's are still a hundred plus pounds more than their rivals from Yamaha SHO.

    The Honda is around 95 lbs heavier than the SHO. This hasn’t changed, Yamaha has the composite block which was the problem with a lot of the failures and making oil issues.

    The Mercury is the lightest, time will tell on it.

    Why still no 1.75:1? It looks like the only thing they needed to change "2.00:1 gears" they did not.
