    Best prop for a 521vx hpdi 250?

Lookin for a spare prop. I currently have a 25 TI 15 1/8. I need a spare and not sure what direction to go in. I heard finding that prop is tough to find. Any thoughts ?

If you just want a good spare, look for a Tempest+ 25 hubbed to fit your Yammie. You can usually find a deal on them on the Props for sale page. I bought two of them and only paid $250 and $275.

Id like to stick with a 3 blade for sure. And I don’t believe mine is vented. As long as it’s 25 pitch it shouldn’t change that much right?

Yours should be vented if it’s on an HPDI. Unless it’s a SHO prop.

The T1 vented v max props aren’t milled for plugs.

the 25 T1 is the best prop but the Merc 25 Tempest+ is very close.

No, 25 T1 is just the model # for the Yamaha prop. Have to ask Yamaha why they chose that name. It's their vented 25 pitch prop. It has become rare because it's not needed on 4 stroke motors. There was also the 25 M which had a reputation for losing blades.

I have one setting in my garage but needs rebuilding.

So for a replacement I should be asking for a Yamaha prop T1 25? For a two stroke.

If you can change out the hub for a Yamaha, get a 26-27p Bravo 1 xs. You’ll be happy that you did. Made all the difference on my 521. Runs as good as a Ranger can.
There’s no use being stupid if you’re not willing to show it off.
