    Prayers for Nebraska...

If you all could throw some prayers up for Nebraska that would be great. Between the blizzard in the west and flooding in the east we are experiencing mass devastation not seen in years. There has been lives lost, homes lost, towns that are now islands or completely submerged and more than likely millions if not more to get back to status quo.

It is bad. Probably the most damaging and destructive natural disaster to ever hit the state. Lots of damage done from the flood to people, houses, business, small towns, farms, and about anything you can think of. Hard to believe there is not much nationals coverage even though one of our air force bases at Offut is flooded. The flooding is literally about 10 minutes from me. You can only drive so far west and see all the road closure signs. Lots of folks be evacuated both as a part of mandatory and involuntary efforts to keep them safe.

Flooding is one of the worst disasters. My thoughts and prayers are with those in Nebraska and other states.

My husband and I are both native Nebaskans. My heart aches for all the farmers and ranchers that are losing their livelihoods. We are used to snow but this is almost unheard of and catastrophic for the entire state. So very proud of neighbors pulling together for neighbors. It's what we do. Go Big Red.

    Prayers to all.
You are one tough bitch. Now go prove it.
    I did. I survived.
