    "06 225 Pro XS degreasing

Have had some minor oil leaks and they hopefully are now fixed. I need to "degrease" my engine. Tips on what to protect from water intrusion and what degreaser to use.

I use Dawn detergent in a spray bottle. Add water first to about 3/4 of the bottle, then add the soap, shake slightly, and spray real good, let it 'sit' and hour or more, rinse off. If its bad, might take a spraying or twp...BF.

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info when posting. Thanks!

As long as you're not trying to use a pressure-washer (and use a little common sense around electronics and openings to the intake), you can use detergent as suggested above, or an aerosol based engine degreaser.
