    shifter trim up don't work but down does

    How do i remove this to check the wires?

    does it work with the switches on the engine and bow? If none of them work, then it's probably the relay on the engine. Either way, the Merc guys will be able to help.

    In the picture it looks as simple as removing some screws but that is just a pure guess on my part...Post in the Mercury forum asking how to take that gearshift apart.
