    Post GT30 Pics

I was able to test out my new GT30 ducer today.....although i didnt get to go back to Toledo Bend, i did get a few screen shots on this lake.....it just a huge cypress tree forest so not much to look at as far as images go.....

As for the images for the GT30, i'm happy with them.....LOT better than the UHD i have on boat....needless to say i'll be pulling the UHD system off and selling it. I plan on getting the new Ultra Plus units so i' gonna guess that the images will be better on the bigger screen vs. the small one.....i did notice that when i had my HDS 10" and 9" units.....i still have the fuzziness on the side image but not the down vu, so that tells me its not interference.....some of the fuzziness is from the pollen that is all over the place......one more thing i noticed on TM is when i would scan a tree or stump i'd have the black shadow behind object but also had a bright shadow going the opposite site. You can see this on the image below.

Here is a little bit of grass in 5' of water....thought it was pretty clean and clear.....

    2d and Down Vu comparison....

    Idling under bridge....

Same stump comparison on the CV52 (TM) & GT30 (Transom)....the only difference is the range is more on the GT....thought it came out pretty good....

The uhd pics just need adjusting turn the contrast up to 75-80 and turn the brightness down till the haze is gone and would of been perfect can't run Garmin on auto setting as they will be hazy
