    Our white crappie weigh a little heavier for those lengths. We don't have an abundance of black crappie in the lakes i fish. Our 10 inch size limit on whites usually run .60 to .75 mostly to the higher side here. Good reference chart though, thanks for posting!!

    congrats on the awesome Crappie. you do not see them that size often, especially in my neck of the woods.

    she she was released and will keep them great genes going .

    I released her at the ramp so my luck she was probably swimming back to the shallows and was hit by a propeller

    Nice going on the catch and the release. I always released any crappies that were over 1.5lb and full of spawn... My buddies disagreed but to each his own...
