Main lake clear 43 degrees. Probably can't get under most of the bridges.

You know it’s chocolate milk? Or just guessing? Steve said it was clear on main lake.

I actually was basing it off of what Monroe looks like....They are usually similar. If the main lake is 'clear'...I'm surprised. The creeks have to be dirty. Either way that lake and 43 degree water doesn't bode well.

They have been pulling 2200 cfs out of Monroe past 2 weeks off and on, but very little pulling water out of Patoka. Monroe has had more rain than Patoka also. Also, been more wind on Monroe as has gusts to 55 mph at Bloomington. Makes quite a difference in how the lakes look. Water in Salt Creek at Bedford is bank full and now green vs. mud a couple of days ago.

I'm going to get on the water this weekend, I'm having a hard time understanding the thought process of the Corp as to why they are holding so much water, kinda seems like Russian roulette at this time of the year, I mean seriously they are one big thunder storm away from some serious high water ..................

If they aren’t gonna keep down low enough to get the grass to come back, then I’d just as soon it stay flooded like it is now. At least it gives them some cover.

I agree but arrange all of the dock walks accordingly!

At least Patoka has an additional walkway added to use the main docks at Newton-Stewart. Water temps were good at 44 early getting to 52 by late day. Water was a beautiful color everywhere.
Fishing still sucked, at least for me.

    .

Ended up at noon today with 1.7 inches total. Creeks and rivers around Shoals coming up, lowland fields flooded again. Lot of water going into Patoka and Monroe again.

I put in today around 12:30 and just got home, pretty much all I have to say about my day is that my boat ran great, as for the fishing, well it sucked real bad!
